Daan Ghati Temple is one of the main temples on the Govardhan Parikrama route. It is associated with Krishna’s playful pastime of collecting 'daan' (tax) from the gopis.

The temple is crowded during Govardhan Puja and Annakut festival. Devotees offer milk, sweets and prayers to Giriraj Maharaj here.
