Birthday of Radha Rani
Radha Ashtami celebrates the appearance day of Shrimati Radha Rani, the eternal consort of Lord Krishna and the supreme goddess of devotion. Celebrated on the eighth day of the bright fortnight of Bhadrapada month (15 days after Janmashtami), this festival holds special significance in the Braj region.

The most grand celebrations take place at the Radha Rani Temple in Barsana, Radha's birthplace. The temple is decorated with millions of flowers, and special abhishek ceremonies are performed. In Vrindavan, all major temples including Banke Bihari, Radha Raman, and Radha Vallabh celebrate with special decorations and extended darshan timings.
