Chaurasi Khamba (84 Pillars) is an ancient temple complex in Gokul believed to be the court of Nanda Maharaj, Krishna's foster father. The 84 pillars represent the 84 lakh species of life in Hindu mythology.
Visiting Rules & Guidelines
- Mobile phones and cameras are strictly prohibited inside the temple premises.
- Remove shoes before entering the temple.
- Dress modestly — avoid shorts, sleeveless tops, and revealing clothing.
- Leather items (belts, bags) may not be allowed inside.
- Follow the queue system and maintain decorum.
- Peak hours (morning opening and evening aarti) are the most crowded. Plan accordingly.
