History & Significance
Dhruv Tila marks the spot where the boy-devotee Dhruva performed severe penance in Madhuvan forest. Pleased by his devotion, Lord Vishnu appeared before him and blessed him to become the Pole Star (Dhruv Tara).
Visiting Rules & Guidelines
- Mobile phones and cameras are strictly prohibited inside the temple premises.
- Remove shoes before entering the temple.
- Dress modestly — avoid shorts, sleeveless tops, and revealing clothing.
- Leather items (belts, bags) may not be allowed inside.
- Follow the queue system and maintain decorum.
- Peak hours (morning opening and evening aarti) are the most crowded. Plan accordingly.
