History & Significance
Gopal Sagar is a large lake adjacent to the Deeg Palace. The lake, along with Rup Sagar on the other side, provided water for the palace's famous fountain system. The surrounding area has beautiful Jat-era architecture.
Visiting Rules & Guidelines
- Mobile phones and cameras are strictly prohibited inside the temple premises.
- Remove shoes before entering the temple.
- Dress modestly — avoid shorts, sleeveless tops, and revealing clothing.
- Leather items (belts, bags) may not be allowed inside.
- Follow the queue system and maintain decorum.
- Peak hours (morning opening and evening aarti) are the most crowded. Plan accordingly.
