History & Significance
Imli Tala marks the spot of an ancient tamarind tree under which Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu would sit and chant the holy names in ecstatic love. The site is especially sacred to Gaudiya Vaishnavas.
Visiting Rules & Guidelines
- Mobile phones and cameras are strictly prohibited inside the temple premises.
- Remove shoes before entering the temple.
- Dress modestly — avoid shorts, sleeveless tops, and revealing clothing.
- Leather items (belts, bags) may not be allowed inside.
- Follow the queue system and maintain decorum.
- Peak hours (morning opening and evening aarti) are the most crowded. Plan accordingly.
