History & Significance
Kutra Ghat is one of the many sacred ghats along the Yamuna in Mathura. Each ghat has its own legend connected to Krishna's pastimes and together they form the traditional Mathura Parikrama route.
Visiting Rules & Guidelines
- Mobile phones and cameras are strictly prohibited inside the temple premises.
- Remove shoes before entering the temple.
- Dress modestly — avoid shorts, sleeveless tops, and revealing clothing.
- Leather items (belts, bags) may not be allowed inside.
- Follow the queue system and maintain decorum.
- Peak hours (morning opening and evening aarti) are the most crowded. Plan accordingly.
