History & Significance
Moti Jheel (Pearl Lake) is a scenic lake in Vrindavan associated with Krishna's pastimes. Legend says pearls (moti) scattered from the jewelry of the gopis fell into this lake during their divine play.
Visiting Rules & Guidelines
- Mobile phones and cameras are strictly prohibited inside the temple premises.
- Remove shoes before entering the temple.
- Dress modestly — avoid shorts, sleeveless tops, and revealing clothing.
- Leather items (belts, bags) may not be allowed inside.
- Follow the queue system and maintain decorum.
- Peak hours (morning opening and evening aarti) are the most crowded. Plan accordingly.
