History & Significance
Pili Pokhar is a sacred pond whose water has a distinctive yellowish tint. Legend says the water turned yellow when Radha's friends washed her yellow garments here. The pond is an important site during Barsana's Holi celebrations.
Visiting Rules & Guidelines
- Mobile phones and cameras are strictly prohibited inside the temple premises.
- Remove shoes before entering the temple.
- Dress modestly — avoid shorts, sleeveless tops, and revealing clothing.
- Leather items (belts, bags) may not be allowed inside.
