History & Significance
Built in 1851 in Dravidian style architecture, Rangaji Temple is one of the largest temples in Vrindavan. It has a 50-foot high gold-plated Dhwaja Stambha and hosts a 10-day Brahmotsavam festival.
Visiting Rules & Guidelines
- Mobile phones and cameras are strictly prohibited inside the temple premises.
- Remove shoes before entering the temple.
- Dress modestly — avoid shorts, sleeveless tops, and revealing clothing.
- Leather items (belts, bags) may not be allowed inside.
- Follow the queue system and maintain decorum.
- Peak hours (morning opening and evening aarti) are the most crowded. Plan accordingly.
