About Rangji Temple
Rangji Temple (Sri Ranganath Temple) is a unique South Indian style temple in Vrindavan dedicated to Lord Ranganatha (a form of Vishnu). The temple features a towering 50-foot gold-plated Dhwaja Stambha.
The temple architecture blends South Indian, Mughal and Rajput styles. It is one of the largest temples in Vrindavan.
History
Built in 1851 by wealthy Seths of Mathura, the temple follows Sri Vaishnava tradition and reflects Dravidian architectural influence.
